Circles Outline for the Day
1. Hand back tests and papers from the back
- Watch Video while Finishing Passing Stuff Out (Sports Science)
2. Announcements --> Quiz on Block Day Ellipses and Circles, +5 on quiz
3. New Features on the Website (Podcast)
4. Teaching from on the floor with paper and students gathered around
a. hand out formula sheets and homework for circles
b. start with basic equation to graph
c. go into #2 graphing one below
d. find the equation of a circle now
5. Have the students then try to do their own problems from on the homework
6. Give them an opportunity to be able graph one on the big graph on the floor
For +5 on the quiz, bring in one thing you can put on the big circle that represents a circle. A good example might be a picture of a basketball, a quarter, etc.
